Happy Belted Hide the Eggs from Zombie Jesus Day
For some odd reason or another I have taken to listening to Ode to Joy the last few days...and it keeps producing a wide grin on my face and scowl
So how was everyones Holy Week? Did anyone indulge in sin and vice making themselves as sacriligious as they can be?
I spent my Friday with the girl having delious Greek food then placing works of art on the back of her epidermas. Will have to make another trip to the Chrome Lotus for the color and some touch up. Oh and a special note to all of you young ladies out there that have a tendacy toward being bashful. If you wish to have a genital piercing done, please do not go into a busy inkslinger gallary and have them clear the place. Be nice and wait till its empty or after hours. Much thanks for that.
Did end up seeing Thank you for Smoking on Saturday after having a few drinks and a sheppard's pie pizza. Really a good bit of cinema for the most part. Made me think of all the spineless bastards and cunts that would fake a cough when I'd smoke. The film it self was really smart and it was funny to see the less bright people squint thier eyes and ponder while everyone else laughed.
I had a nice quiet Easter Sunday with much fun had by all. Went for some Japanese food ( god I was international this weekend) and saw Against All Authority w/ Brain Failure and the Code at Will's Pub. All the bands were great. Only caught three songs from the Code, was funny watching three grown men run through a bar when we heard Unity being played by the Code. Brain Failure didn't disappoint as I hoped. They were great when I saw them with the Street Dogs and River City Rebels awhile back at the AKA Lounge. Against All Authority really kept the circle pit going for the rest of the night, playing a mix of old and new. Of course I had to pick up the usual show merch. Did have two spots of bad news, Will's Pub is going to be torn down in August and I missed Leftover Crack at the Back Booth on Saturday nite...fucking hell
.
For my favorite day of the week, Tuesday, I will be picking up NOFX's and Sick of it All's new albums. What are all of you picking up? Cheers for now.
Sailing the seas singin, drinkin and wenchin to hell and back.
