College football season draws to a close as I write this, and on a high note for me as Ohio State gets soundly clobbered. But I won't bore anyone with analysis, I'll just show you what I have to look forward to next August 30th: pictures from last year's opening game!

Now, for anyone who thinks I'm a little too carried away by football, meet Carl. Carl is 92 years old. Carl attends all the home games. Carl attends all the booster club events. Carl is 92 years old. You can't see it here but he's wearing plus-fours (those pants that old-time golfers used to wear) and argyle knee socks with white sneakers dyed purple. I frankly hope I don't live to be 92, but if I do I hope I'm still kicking it in the grandstands for every home football game.
