I've got about four minutes before I have to take my clothes out of the dryer, change, and then hit road again so I'll make this one pretty quick.
If you're looking for music to accompany your St. Patrick's Day festivities, I recommend Dropkick Murphys. I saw 'em last Saturday night at the House Of Blues and they damn near tore the roof off the place. Irish punk rock. And their fans are nothing less than rabid -- I haven't seen moshing like that since the early '90s. Then again, I don't go to many shows so I haven't seen much of any moshing since the early '90s, but still...they were hardcore.
Also, you better hurry up and get your fill of Shamrock Shakes before they go away. I might purchase a big jerrycan (like for gasoline) and fill them up for storage. One year I drank so many that my shit turned green. That was fuckin' hilarious. Thought I'd share that anecdote.
I'm going drinking at Mitts on Lincoln tonight but can't stay out late. I have to be up early tomorrow because I'm marching in the parade. Not that I need to be in any decent shape for it, but I do need to get out of the house by 9A (an ungodly hour for me). Do you suppose the 'chicks flashing for beads' thing works for St. Pat's too? The crowd should be drunk enough... I'll let you know tomorrow!

How are shows at the House of Blues? I stayed at there hotel that is right there and it was pretty pimping. Somehow we payed $125 a night but when I tried to stay there a year later it was $300, not in my budget. anyways
Did you see Betty Hutton passed?
