No header or title for this post as it is just two thoughts apropos of nothing in particular.

Did you ever see a movie or a tv show of something or have some other experience when you were a little kid, and remember it so vividly but have no other information about it so you didn't know what it was or weren't even sure that you didn't dream it?

Well tonight I had a conclusive answer to one such event in my dimly lit past. I saw the first twenty minutes of a movie when I was a little kid, and I just learned that it was the 1980 TV-movie remake of "Angel On My Shoulder". This means nothing to you, but to reach a conclusion to an absolutely pointless vignette in my childhood some twenty-five years later is my idea of closure.

The other thing is that the first step toward conquering addiction is to admit that you have a problem. The time has come for me to admit that I'm seriously hooked on Benadryl. I'm hoping to spread that addiction over into Ambien instead. I'm taking Lunesta right now and it's ok, but it doesn't make me drowsy so I take the Benadryl too. I hear that Ambien will get you nice and sleepy so my new goal is PRESCIPTION DRUG USE!

P.S. One last thing. Anyone else watch the World Cup today and see Bill Clinton hanging out in one of the skyboxes? That's the reality show I want to see...Bill Clinton, statesman emeritus, traveling the globe and left to his own devices with his wife nowhere in sight. And an entire continent of foreign bimbos to throw themselves at him. Hilarity ensues.

AHH a remake of nthe Paul Muni film. I haven't seen it but the original is really a fun film, gotta love Claude Raines.

I totally know that feeling of strange remeberance. There was a film I think I saw as a kid, I can even remember my baby sitter talikng about it, and there was a drive in by a freeway entrance ramp that played it and I saws a the same clip every day my mom picked me up from daycare. Can't for the life of me find jack shit about it from remebered description. mad

That's a great tv show idea!

Sorry for any confusion. I just took it off the calendar. Thanks for the heads-up. You must have been left out of the last email, but it was rescheduled for the 29th and then, well, you know the rest. Email me and I'll make sure you get put in thenext invite mailing. oJAEflo suggested doing it by private email and then taking it off the general listings.
