oh man, I love DM. I haven't seen them live in at least 5 years though. But I bet they still play a fucking great show. I remember seeing them in '99, at the end of the show somehow everyone just ended up climbing onto the stage, and somebody randomly threw me up into the air, and after surfing the stage for awhile i ended up in the drummer's lap. He set me on my feet, handed me a drumstick and sent me on my way. Awesome.

I watched every play and yet it was hard to realize how it went from 16-14 with the Bears on their heels to 32-14 and the Bears comfortably ahead with most of the fourth quarter left to play. ok, so lets say that the Bears let Rivera go (although wouldnt it be easier to just double his salary?) why in the hell would they promote Bob Babich instead of hiring Mike Singletary? the fans would be pissed about Rivera leaving until they saw good old # 50 in charge of Urlacher. Thats the dream i have anyways... I really dont thinnk the Bears are as cheap these days as they used to be. Lovie is gonna get plenty of $$ to make up for him being under paid the last 2 seasons...

I don't know, I don't particularly hate the new interface. And that's not the reason i'm cutting back on my time around here. Mostly it's an attempt to get back in touch with the real world. This site can be terribly addictive sometimes, and i'm one of the worst. Oh, and thanks for what you said. You're one of the good ones as well. We're a rare breed, my friend.

I agree about the diary...it gets really boring and mundane, but you keep wanting to read it cause you know she is going to slip...which she does, but I won't give too much away
For a while, you keep thinking you look exactly like you did when you were 18. And then you look at old pictures... and you barely recognize the person you were in those. You just see a fresh-faced kid that looks nothing like you now... while being mostly the same.
This is fascinating - the whole concept of becoming a stranger to your own self in your own life.
