If I haven't mentioned it, I live in pre-WWII military housing, quite lovely. An enormous amount of the property has been purchased by a local university and by a local college. A small portion is owned by the state and has been used by refugee families for some time. The neighborhood is just off of a four-lane street, but manages to stay rather quiet.
I am attempting to lower property values via general scruffiness, loud machine-work, parking lot MIG welding, building the Honda, and the bellowing of snatches of songs -show tunes as often as not. A constant musical flow of Slayer and the Wu Tang Clan assists in a spiritual sense.
I've been bitching about the humidity and the chops for a while as well.
