kmk:
thats awesome...in a very confident dorky way, lol! yes, i have the set in my movie collection...BUT...that is it, no game cards, shirts or posters on my walls. i forced one of my girlfriends to go watch the opening of the return of the king. obviously, she loves me to go to something she could of cared less about...okay, point: don't ever watch lord of the rings with someone that does not respect sam's ears...she pointed out the bad make-up job at the end of the movie...it has never been the same for me. i guess you could consider me a a big rude dork now but sharing that with you...check out those years hott stuff, lol! best day to you...with a lot of rambling made by me!

Joy, I can hardly wait. Check it.

How's things lately? I haven't been around.

Whew, 90 degrees F here today. I hate the NE in Summer, sticky and hot.

Ripped it up on the bike, 108 through Smugglers Notch for those that have been up this way.

Tired, and wanting some light reading. Any thoughts?

Light reading? How about that Playboy? wink

Sandoval and Ricci and so sultry...♥

Snuff was totally light reading. I swallowed that one in a day. Did you like it? And LoC was just "interesting"? I was kind of horrified and amused...just so bizarre, no? What's the scoop with LTROI? You said you won't make it. I know, it's a little rough and slow. You might be helped out if you rent the film.
jena:
Most fascinating! I've never heard personal testimonials of the book, but I haven't heard one negative comment or review towards the film. You are groundbreaking!

I once kept a stack of Playboys in my bathroom b/c I just thought it was kitsch and funny...and every once in a while I'd find good articles. Once I even found a hot non-Barbie girl.

I can't believe you weld like that indoors. But you are all man, I know now.
maxi:
you know i use to be a big fan of David Perry, once i found him on the Modeling site that i network on and told him that he inspired me to shoot hot rods, he offered to shoot me when i want if i come to SF.

Sweet. If I haven't mentioned it before, the best thing about the head injury -other than the fact that I'm physically intact, is that I have little or no short-term memory, so could conceivably own one or two DVD movies, and watch them over and over...

Else, the bike is too much fun, I need some chicanes or something -rigid frame means that I can...

yea the rigid frame is nice for that, I cruz a good 30 min every day to work on the highway and never touch the handle bars.

From the unmoving and undivided brilliance of simplicity itself
At the zero point of life and death
You are the clarity of fury, the vibrance of passion
The wisdom of alteration.
You are the essence of movement and the blackness of ink.

From the Warrior Song of King Gesar. About a demon-goddess. I need a date with a woman like that.

I only wear it when I am dressing up or going out, but..thank you kiss

That's why it's best if it's someone with whom you know it'd never happen; you'll never meet, much less do anything else. Hence the celebrity choices.

Ooof. Middle America and mediocrity share more than the same etymological roots. I sit in a Panera Bread, a chain I did not know of, as there are no such beasts in Vermont, listening to mulish and none-too-bright knuckelheads talk excessively loudly via webcam to their none-too-bright families... An experience akin to listening to some dullard yak at volume with some half-wit o'er his ridiculous...

Two posts in a ninety day period. The end of the world as you know it must be forthcoming. Reading: Seven Pillars of Wisdom,;eating, too much and not as well as I'd like; drinking, like a drunkard... It's hard to find decent small-batch bourbons out here in middle America, strange.

Planning on returng East and Med School. And why not? Society still bores me. I...

I've never had much luck with bourbon, except in gravediggers (the only mixed drink I can stand - half bourbon and half rum; it's aptly named). And for fortifying eggnog. But it's possible I'm not doing it right. Ice, you say?

Damn, this Internet thing might catch on.

Else, I remain vox clamantis in deserto.

Bleah. It escapes me how or why anyone would live in the flatlands. Were it not for Aretha F. (Chain chain chain...) and Mazzy Star in the cd-changer, I'd be on 70 West still, looking to run someone off the road. My 'friend' and I agree, we hate Kansas, and she's still in Montreal.

I drink all kinds of tea...herbal medicinal
I have been making pom green tea alot

Three weeks and counting down quickly, I plan on being in Kansas on 6 November. And what to do other than work, I am at a loss.

It will be an exercise in maturity, to not simply jump onboard the first cool mission that comes through -the bonus being that I'll get to scope out the folks & suss out the leadership...

Else, pretty bored,...
