So I havnt played FNM in over month but i finally got some cards last week
and this week I didnt actually have anything to do fri.

I went yesterday with my new and improved bant list

FIrst round against a green/white little kid deck
lots of creatures overruns and garruks
He get double ovverrun first game with overrun the spell
and a garruk I lose turn 5
2nd game I get a bit ahead early with some war monks and he's top decking lands obv. he gets frustrated and just concedes though I think he at least another couple draws to get paths
3rd I get the Rafiq draw and a Wiltleaf blow out though they do get pathed but I draw into more creatures and finish up

Next I play a revlark and get beat down by my own creatures thanks to sowers I actually dont have much of a sideboard for it and the cards I did sideboard gaddock and gutturall response i got a turn or so after theyd help guttural after he already played cryptic and teeg after a wrath the player was good though so I was still hoping to top 8

Then I played Nathan whos been playing faeries forever now but it's really not very good anymore especially against a deck with unblockable/trample 2 drops the first game I have a lucky hand
with 3 bant charms which i like since i know he still plays sowers he steals my rafiqs i kill the fae control magic and bash in easy. the 2nd game took a bit longer but same end result

Last game was against a Naya aggro deck that has a turn where i take 12 on turn 5 because of that new 7/7 haste guy but I take him out the next turn. In the 2nd I get some warmonks which give me some life padding to win the smash face race.

Top 8
First round play a G/R aggro elf deck with the cascade elves and the warriar warhammer oddly it's decent but he doesnt cascade into anything meaningfull and i overrun in to quick matches and I've got four celestial purges to get rid of the red half of the creatures

Merfolk was next! Jeeze I havnt played against merfolk in forever!. The first game he combos off with reejeries plays his hand and an acquitects will making one of my forests and island and i get walked over
I take the next two matches the turn before I would lose because of island walk he misplays and puts out a glen elendra when he couldve put out a wave thrasher

Last round was against a jund ramp that beat the rev/lark deck that beat me in the swiss which is good i didnt want to play rev/lark again. I beat him the first game he was short swamps and couldnt play the maelstrom pulses second game he played first so i was on the back step and he had 2 goblin outlanders he made a mistake and attacked with both after i played a jhessian i blocked the outlander killed it played a rafiq next turn and got alot of damage and life back from my rhox but he eventually burned me out

Last game I stupidly kept a 1 lander with a heirophant which gets killed on the first turn but I mised lands then awesome cards ftw
