I've actually met Matthew Sweet a few times. I can't remember if it was him, or his manager that went to College with my uncle. At any rate, got free V.I.P passes a few times when I was back in Chicago from my uncle.
Horse and Hound has the absolute worst service ever. I had a group of 7 people with me last time I was there, and I got like 1 pitcher of beer in the 2 hours we were there. No one got a refill on water or drink or jack shit. It was completely fucking dead too. Maybe us and 2 other tables. We left without paying... ANYTHING. I went up to the manager and told him we couldn't find the waitress to pay so he gets to eat the bill. I'm not normally that brasen, but I was a bit pissed off.

steve and i had a discussion about the two "state mottos", if you will, of ohio..."Birthplace of aviation" and "the heart of the midwest", both of which are misleading. So we thought up mottos that fit Ohio much better, one of which was the stabbing one (because the night before we heard tale of a double stabbing at our favorite pizza place in columbus). We also came up with Ohio: round on the sides and high in the middle, Ohio: We have identity issues, and Ohio: We like to pretend we're the midwest.
