now that i'm back at the newspaper and in school, i dread mondays. the beginning of the work week, and so far away from sweet, dear weekend glory.

i have been thinking a lot as of late, contemplating the future, where i want my life to go.

i think i want to move away after i get my degree. possibly california [LA], maybe otherwise.

all i know is florida fucking sucks.

i am not:

-old
-rich
-lame
-mentally retarded
-trailer trash
or
-into hot weather

.. so there seems to be no reason for me to stay.


i've been looking into different schools of journalism and they all seem so promising and interesting. i'm not sure if it's my age, or the fact i've never lived in the same place for more than 2 years, but i definitely feel the need to just get away.

maybe i'm crazy.

in other news, the first installment of my semester-long column comes out in The Source on wednesday.. i'm so effing excited!!! if you go to Valencia grab a copy, i did A LOT (95%) of the work for that issue, and my writing is in it damnit!

i can't fucking wait for all my hard work to manifest.

now that it's been a while since i took all my piercings out, i'm kind of craving body modification. i'm thinking ink this time. jaclyn gave me the best idea [it would go from my side to my shoulder], and i think i'm going to start saving up.

anyone have suggestions for artists in the orlando or melbourne areas that do good black and white work with shading?
