So, i did something i have never done before.

I went to an indie rock show. [gasp!]

I was forced by these two lovely ladies:




Shawna and Danielle dawned in crazy-pretty makeup. I'm trying to get them both to do SG, they would be so perfect for it.

In being completely skeptical of the whole evening, i found my self quite content. Although it's not my musical forte, all the bands were really good at what they did, solid, and totally respectable. Starting off was a band called The Lovely Feathers, then Death of a Party, and Metric. If you listen to that type of music, i highly recommend them.



Shawna and i, i've known her for about 6 years, she's the closest thing i have to a soul mate. I loff her to death.

On Tuesday I went to Backbooth and saw Converge, The Red Chord, and Darkest Hour. [omfg metal] Let me tell you, i have never seen the place that packed. The show was freaking amazing at its least. Andddd i got to see the awesome AryCORE and go out for grub with her and her BF afterwards. She is so cool, i wish i could adopt her as my little sister.

In shitty real life news, i got a second job. I'm now a retail whore in the middle of shit-fuck tourist hell orlando as well as a waitress as well as a student as well as an editor [BREATHE] as well as a writer.

i.am.going.to.malfunction.

But hey, when you need that $$ you need to work for it.



I'm off to get some sleep for the long, long week ahead of me.
