So I need to update more apparently. I was approved for the apartment but it was a dump and asking too much for what they had to offer, so I respectfully declined. Bummed that I'm still at my parent's house but it's okay because I will just save money to get a nice place rather than scraping by for a run down place...my boy's deserve more than that.
I started school which means I went down to 5 days at work instead of 6 and spending nearly $120 in gas each week. But it's okay I really like the school I'm at. I have chemistry and biology Monday-Thursday but the absolute worse day is Saturday, I have my CNA class from 8:30-5:30 pm. I've only had one class and it's miserable. But at least once it's done I can either get another job or a full time job. I should be able to apply for the nursing program this Spring...if not I will be able to shortly after. I'm considering getting certified as a phlebotomist so I can draw blood.
Shawn is in his second year of preschool and is loving it, he has even told me that he doesn't want to come home sometimes because his friends are at school. I don't think he realizes that they go home too. Landon is crawling, standing, clapping, climbing stairs, and attempting to walk....all at 8 months. Where is the time going?
A family friend of our family died, she was a good woman. And a friend of mine, her father just found out he has stage 4 lung cancer and tumors on his skull. He was given 12 months. It's terrible, he is such a good guy and super nice...I hope he hangs on and his treatment works.

I think I am going to hold off on the military for the time being. Something just doesn't feel right. I don't know how to explain it. You know me and my "feelings." Haha. I was never given a specific time frame. I just would have to lose it before I go to MEPS. I am still going to try and lose the weight. Just not focus so much on joining the military at the moment. Besides, that would postpone me being a mommy for longer. And I don't really want that.

Education is very important so hang in there. My sister who is 29 is a single mom with two kids and she is working and going to school to get her degree. I can't say enough how much I admire your strength. It seems like things are going well for you.
