Right now, i'm in a "I need to just zone the hell out cuz I've thought far too much about the ex today" mood, so it's massive attack for me.

I cant tell from your profile if you are into classic rock at all, but the root of all great modern bands eventually will link back to led zeppelin. Their blues riffs have a way of ripping me out of a funk.

I would suggest other bands, more on the indie side of things, but I'm not sure you'd be into them...
