Well, I'm off to Detroit for a day or so...I have to work on Friday, so I don't really get to spend that much time with my old roomies. But, on the bright side, my whole family will be in Chicago for the weekend, many, many miles away....

How about that jackass announcer who kept refering to Vinatieris "kick in the AFC Championship game against the Raiders in the snow that sent us to the superbowl" I guess he forgot about THE AFC championship game we played against the Steelers to get us to the big dance. He also kept refering to the "Texans rookie WR Andre Davis" and also circled recent aquisition JJ Stokes, lined up in the slot, for the Texans. Ugh. A hot chick predicting two AFC teams to meet in the superbowl, I can laugh about...

about the planned punt safety, brilliant, but about 20 years ago, a team, i *think* it was the chiefs, were fined by the league for laying down on the field and allowing a touchdown to get the ball back with less than 2 minutes on the clock. do i think the intentional safety will raise eyebrows with the brass?
