So, I just got home. Yesterday at work my brakes started screaming at me. They had been a little bit, but it was really bad yesterday. I went this morning to get them checked out. I ended up getting them fixed. I dropped $230 on it, the price could have been much worse so I am happy about that. However, I now have $1 to my name, rent is due in a couple days and I don't get paid until next week. I think my parents may loan me the money for rent for a few days, I hope. Sadly though, this means no bowling in Chicago tonight. I feel like an ass cause I backed out last week too after I said I would come down. I'm just too fucking poor right now. I don't even have the money to pay for the toll road much less gas and such....

On a brighter note....a new Echo set! What could be better. I remember when I first joined this site. A friend of mine told me to check it out and I came here and saw a picture or Rose and decided to join. That was roundabout mid-October of 2001. I was only going to join for a month. Then Echo's first set went up....I've been here ever since. I guess it was the realization that even though there were only maybe 15 SG's at that point, I had to stick around and see who they would put up next. Maybe that is why I am little upset over the amount of new girl weeks and the new girl tuesday. There used to be so much anticipation for Friday and then that girl had a whole week to herself wherein she was THE new girl and everyone got to know her.....anyway, I'm sounding like an old geezer.....guess I'll go play video games to regain my youth a bit.
