Yesterday was a busy day...
I finished East of Eden. I'm so pissed off. Why the hell didn't I read that years ago? I absolutely loved it. Now I have to rush out and buy more Steinbeck to read. I figure I will get to Grapes of Wrath pretty soon and maybe pick up a couple more shorter ones.
I read all of R.U.R. For those who don't know the story, it's about the company who makes the world's first robots. They start making the robots more and more human and then the world gets to be a fucked up place. It's a great play. I would love to see it performed someday.
I also started reading The Red and The Black, but I'm only about 30 pages in so it's too early for a judgement.
I worked from 5-12:30.....it sucked. It snowed the whole time. Why is it snowing? This is supposed to be the middle of spring. I do prefer delivering in snow to delivering in rain though, my car leaks when it rains, but that doesn't happen when it snows.
Sadly I have to go into work early today. I don't know how late I will stay. I'd like to make some decent cash and that might mean forcing myself to stay until 8 or 9 or something, but I know I am not going to want to be there that long. I'm going to want to come home and put the baseball game on and read some more Stendhal.

at least it snowed while you were working, and not when you were trying to have fun outside. and seriously, last year on may 10 it snowed here and didn't melt for a week and a half
