I hung out with Miss TiffanyJewel yesterday.
I got new books! I got R.U.R., which I haven't read since about sophomore year of high school. I got Dreamcatcher, which is the only Stephen King book I haven't read (except for some short stories). And, last but very far from least, I got The Alexandria Quartet...I read it several years ago and then loaned my nice matching set to a friend of mine who then moved to New Hampshire and I haven't heard from her since. The set I got is not the nifty $50 set that you see if you click that link, but it is a used matching set with a nice box for them that I picked up for a mere $5. A good haul, I'd say. As soon as I finish T.E. Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom I will probably bust through R.U.R. and then start on one of the other new ones, but I really want to finish Seven Pillars of Wisdom. I had set it aside so I could plow through Stephen King's Dark Tower series, but I've finished that now.
Today's my final day off before I start working fulltime again. I'm almost out of money, so it's good timing. I haven't actually seen next week's schedule but I'm hoping I got several hours. If all else fails I am sure I can pick up a few shifts and get my hours that way.
When we were at the coffee shop last night we ran into the cute girl that we met on the day I got my obnoxiously bright shoes. This girl is adorableness personified.....so cute. I don't want to have a big stupid crush on someone right now though. I'm planning on moving in just a few months, I don't want to fall for someone right now.
