Interesting day today...

I worked most of the morning and early afternoon. I watched some tv. I went upstairs and visited with my neighbor. He and I went over to the coffee shop. Then we came back here and watched Being John Malkovich. He'd never seen it and I love the movie, so I had to make him watch it. Then we went over and picked his fiance up and went out for ice cream. When they dropped me off back here I walked over to the bar and had a drink.


However, here's the exciting news of the day..........I bought an Alto Sax. Now, some of you may realize, "But hey, Dave, aren't you a broke ass motherfucker?" To which I would reply, "Um, yes." But here's the thing....I bought the sax for one cup of coffee, fifty cents and a paperback copy of "Of Mice and Men". So, I gotta say, that's a great deal. Now, I have never played the Alto, but I couldn't pass this deal up. I did play the Baritone Sax in marching band back in high school....if all else fails, it will get added to my collection of instruments and it has only cost me about $3.
