I'm listening to one of my alltime favorite bands right now. They're called Smiley Face. They are from Saginaw. This tape is over ten years old and was made when they were still in high school. The lead singer/guitar player went to my school. I hung out with the band sometimes, not in a groupieish way though. Sadly they broke up about 8 or 9 years ago because they argued all the fucking time. But I have their first tape of which only 20 copies or so were made and I have this one.

I'm being all fucking nostalgic. Maybe I'll follow it up with some other music from that era/area and have it be like a hall show of old.....


I met up with SpeedPHreak, madwill, TiffanyJewel and her boyfriend (?) tonight. We went and saw a rock show. The first band was horribly unoriginal and pretty much sucked. The second band kicked ass! They weren't very good, but they were playing loose and having fun and I loved them. As for the last band....they were ok, not great, but pretty good. They seemed kinda sloppy for the first couple songs, but they were tighter near the end. Too much screaming for my taste though.
