I have picked up so many extra hours at work this week. I should end up with just under fifty and I had only been scheduled for about 30. The sad thing is, we are slow and the few people who do order aren't fucking tipping. But, at least I am getting overtime.

I wanted to stay late last night. My boss gets yelled at by his boss if anyone gets overtime, so he wouldn't let me. He realizes there is no way that I am going to end up with less than forty this week, but he wants to keep the OT down so that he doesn't get yelled at as much. I was bitching because I hadn't made much money yesterday and I am incredibly poor right now. So I told him I was going to go play the 3-digit lotto and win some money. My number actually hit...granted, I only won $41, but hey, it was enough for a pound of coffee, a couple gin and tonics, a good dinner and I still have some left over.

I started reading Laughter in the Dark by Nabokov last night. It's been a quick read so far. It isn't his best story that I have read, but I just love the way he writes, so it will still be enjoyable.

Now much else is going on, eh, I gotta get ready for work though.....
