So this weekend was spent working and working and working some more.
I did get some reading done though. I finished The Talisman and started Black House. I'm not sure when this Stephen King kick will end. This makes seven in a row by him.
It was a good weekend overall though. I had some fun times at work and some more fun times at the bar after work. All of the football teams I love won. I spanked estrada in SGFF.
I talked to my parents last night. We were on the phone for about 45 minutes and it seemes like hours. We just don't have much to talk about. Outside of genetics we really don't have much in common. I talked to my sister for awhile too, phone calls with her always seem shorter than they actually are...she and I have things we can talk about.
My parents are pissed because they are going to my sister's in Chicago for Thanksgiving and I am headed Detroitward to see my ex-roommate and his family. It'll be cool because one of our other ex-roommates is going to be in town too so the three of us will hang out for the first time in about four years.

How about that jackass announcer who kept refering to Vinatieris "kick in the AFC Championship game against the Raiders in the snow that sent us to the superbowl" I guess he forgot about THE AFC championship game we played against the Steelers to get us to the big dance. He also kept refering to the "Texans rookie WR Andre Davis" and also circled recent aquisition JJ Stokes, lined up in the slot, for the Texans. Ugh. A hot chick predicting two AFC teams to meet in the superbowl, I can laugh about...
