Well, I went to the Warped tour in Detroit on Sunday. My God, did it suck! The one in Milwaukee was one of the best shows I have ever been to, this was one of the worst. They held it in the parking lot of Comerica Park, the fucking parking lot! There was no room to move around at all. The only band that was playing that one that I hadn't seen before (that I wanted to see anyway) were the Circle Jerks, so I left after they played. I drove two hours home, rented some movies and relaxed.
Speaking of movies.....I am taking a whole week off of work. I have to rest up before school starts up again. I am planning on reading a ton of philosophy and watching a ton of movies. The books are already chosen (I'm going to plow through the "Summa Contra Gentiles" by St. Thomas Aquinas. Any suggestions as to what movies I should rent?
I need some fiction to read too, dammit. I was thinking of perusing some Hesse (he's my favorite and I haven't read any in awhile)....I also haven't read any Salinger in awhile, I was thinking "Raise High the Roofbeam...."
