Yeah, yeah, yeah, I haven't been around much lately. I guess I got kinda burned out on interneting. And I was having some modem issues, but I have a new modem now.

Not a whole helluva lot has been going on in my life as of late. I have just been working as much as I possibly can (well, that's not entirely true since they...

Octavio Dotel is a top flight reliever, but that is the entire bullpen in terms of quality for the 'stros.

The Tigers signed Rondell White?

Ouch, that reminds me of a Randy Smith move. Ivan would work great with the young staff of Detroit. While I like Brandon Inge, he has no stick despite his late season surge last year.

About tea and coffee: For a long time, I didn't like either tea or coffee. With respect to tea, it turns out that what I didn't like was bad tea. The good stuff is great, now that I know what it tastes like. It's very probable that the same is true of coffee. I'll write down the name of the one you suggested ("Antigua Los Volcanes") and give it a try. I've always liked the *smell* of coffee...

Cheers - Zork.

I got the first three seasons of Buffy on dvd for Christmas.....so I have been in Buffy Marathon Mode for the last few days. I'm about halfway through season two right now.

Work sucked today, it sucked something fierce. My boss was sick so I had to fill in for him as manager rather than delivering. Sadly, this meant a lot less money in my...

So, things have been hectic and crazy. And I haven't been around here much, but that is going to change motherfuckers! I spent the Christmas money from my Grandmas on a new computer chair. Now I won't be in pain from bending over on the barstool I had sitting here! Now I can waste away hour after hour by keeping track of everyone on here!...

No, we should not ignore the bears... but we should also not ignore the wolves. It's all about balance, as I'm sure your philosophical self will agree.

Hoping your philosophcal self has had a wonderful break, and is returning full of philosophical insights, whatever they may be!!! smile smile

I spent xmas money on a new computer chair too, it rules.

I'm not picky about the logistics of the twin humpage. It's all in my head anyway...

I've been really fucking lazy, yet stressed out at the same time. I have this amazing ability to sit around watching television shows about Bennifer while thinking about how much work I have to do, and how I should really get on it... blecch... sick of thinking about it...

I got up to Saginaw on Wednesday and hung out with the family for awhile. We spent the whole day at the funeral home on Thursday. It was rough. I was struggling to be sad. I was very fucking far from close to my Grandma and the cousins on that side of the family were very close to her. They were constantly on the verge...

Well, I got a call from my Dad today. My Grandma passed away this afternoon. Congestive heart failure.....it happened while she was napping. Apparently it's a rather painless way to go. She's been in a nursing home for the last five years or so and the last couple of those she barely knew who we were when we went to visit her. I get to...

This week has just been work, work, work....Well, except for the paper I...

I don't remember 'Insomnia' much, so I'm in no position to answer your question about the kid.

What did you think of 'Black House'?

I still haven't gotten to 'Wolves' ... I've been slacking with the reading ...

Hey... just noticed that you're in Kalmazoo in addition to being interested in Philosophy. Do you know Michael Wolff (last I heard, he was in Kalamazoo's Phil. dept)?

My paper is due in twelve hours....I still haven't started it......I'm gonna go get to it now, eh.

Edited to add: The Paper has been researched and written and I still have two hours to spare.....

Was this the best Thanksgiving ever? Could be.....even if there was no Bitchin' Camaro in which the family turkey sat and got salmonella.....anyway....

Detroit was a great time. I got to see some friends I had not seen in a long, long, long time. We went bowling Thursday night and I stunk the fucking place up with my less than 100 a game average for...

Well, I'm off to Detroit for a day or so...I have to work on Friday, so I don't really get to spend that much time with my old roomies. But, on the bright side, my whole family will be in Chicago for the weekend, many, many miles away....

So this weekend was spent working and working and working some more.

I did get some reading done though. I finished The Talisman and started Black House. I'm not sure when this Stephen King kick will end. This makes seven in a row by him.

It was a good weekend overall though. I had some fun times at work and some more fun times at...

...and I thought the Red Sox were about to give me a heart attack, I lost my voice screaming at the TV, and almost broke a lamp with my game ball.

How about that jackass announcer who kept refering to Vinatieris "kick in the AFC Championship game against the Raiders in the snow that sent us to the superbowl" I guess he forgot about THE AFC championship game we played against the Steelers to get us to the big dance. He also kept refering to the "Texans rookie WR Andre Davis" and also circled recent aquisition JJ Stokes, lined up in the slot, for the Texans. Ugh. A hot chick predicting two AFC teams to meet in the superbowl, I can laugh about...

This weekend was hectic. I worked almost every hour that I was awake.

Then, starting Sunday night, I started playing Madden. That game is highly addictive for me. I won the Super Bowl after going undefeated with it set on All-Madden, yup, I'm badass. Then my TE, RB and FB retired.....now I am sad.

This afternoon I went and bought a few things. It is...
