I'm becoming addicted! I played 36 holes Saturday, two very different courses. The first was awesome! In a wooded area, native plants and trees everywhere. But what a hike! Up and down and up and down. The guys call it the goat trail course :) and the other one was sooo small in comparison, tees next to baskets, practically on top of each other. It would be better if we had the park to ourselves, but usually it's pretty packed and you are always waiting for a group to tee off or letting another play through. And we play teams when we have bigger groups too.
I really enjoy being the only female in the group too. Don't get me wrong, I would love to play with some other ladies. I just really like being the feminine focus point in a mass of testosterone, especially when I can out drive them all sometimes! ;) for the most part I'm "just one of the guys" though. I can get really competitive but I've only been playing a few months so I try not to be so hard on myself and the guys are really helpful. So far anybody I have met out on a course has always been really friendly.
So...are there any SGs or hopefuls that disc golf I wonder?
