I find it annoying when people describe bullies as generally stupid people, or those who insult another for being different. That's a false accusation. Granted some bullies can be pretty stupid, but what you must understand is majority of the human race is xenophobic and ignorant. If you don't reach their standards you're going to be treated unfairly. It's unfortunate, but it happens. Consider that it's highly likely that most people are actually descended from Africans, and that we in the future had slavery for nearly a century or more. Not completely the same, but the superiority complex is still there.

On the other hand where the superiority complex comes in, is where we don't feel positive about ourselves. We lack individuality and thus take our problems out on those who don't fit our standards. We have more people who focus outward and see the world as a problem than those who look inward and see the issues inside.
