This week I was on duty at work since the other supervisor is on vacation... I'm kinda new at that job so before she go, she told me to make sure the staff knew they can call me, but only for something important (because it seems that they tend to call for stupidity all the time and I have no patience for that really...)
So anyway, I left a note saying that they could call me anytime in case of a fire or other emergency that couldn't wait... And so far, no one called..
But yesterday, I came in for the evening shift after a day off and the morning shift girl told me we were out of white bread... and we serve fucking breakfast... So I asked her why she had not call me and she answered that she thought about starting a small fire and then call me about the fire and telling me at the same time we were out of white bread but she wasn't sure she could keep the fire small and not cause any damages...
OMG!
So anyway, this morning we had to serve only wheat toast which is okay because it's healthy , right?
But i'm keeping myself the right to be a bit pissed off about the situation...
ARGH!!!
Other subject:
If you are from Quebec or from Ontario and planning on visiting Quebec this summer, you MUST see the show Eclyps in Shawinigan. Seriously, it's unique, it's funny, there's acrobat jumping everywhere! With the economic situation of the moment, if you need a cheap vacation you really should go for the Shawiningan/Trois-Rivieres area... it's crazy how they invest in some really good attraction for tourists and there's also the National Park near by!
(I'm not totally objective since I live in T-R but I saw Eclyps 2 days ago and WOW! and I visited Shawinigan's attraction 2-3 weeks ago and I was really suprised and amazed!)
