My wife leaves for her conference in the morning. She's flying to Toronto and will return on Wednesday evening. That's five days of Daddy duty! This is a first for this length of time since the baby. It'll be a bit weird but fun, I'm sure. I feel bad for Ruby as I'm sure she's gonna miss her momma...and of course that means I'll not only be fun Daddy, but mean, discipline Daddy for those days, too. At 17 mos., Ruby is starting to show signs of attitude when she wants to make up her own mind. It's totally cute, but can be frustrating. I guess it's like the beginning of the terrible twos, hey?
