Well, here it is..Friday and I'm the MC in my buddy Gord's wedding tomorrow. Guess I'll be spending the better part of the day getting my little speech index cards all ready. Typical, hey? Should be fun, though...toonie bar! And the bride is from Nova Scotia, so you know there's gonna be some good stories coming out of this event!
And tonight a group of us are supposed to be going out for good times and beers, so I'll have to get my speech stuff all done this afternoon, cuz I won't be any shape to do it later, that's for Goddamned sure. Maybe I can convince the wife to let us bring a "third" home tonight, if we drink enough ;o) Wouldn;t that just be nice for everyone?

Get the bride and groom to each take off their shoes. Each one of them gets one of each.. Get then to stand back to back and then ask them questions about who is going to do what during the marriage. They vote with the respective shoe.
It's fun to ask pointed questions like, who's going to take out the garbage, who's going to cook, who's going to spend more monies on toys and stuff (My sister is a shop-a-holic, my brother in law want's to build a recording studio in their basement...).
It's fun times. Worked out great for me.
