Ack more chaos-
Chaos is full of beauty and destruction and so was this weekend. I went down to Eugene, OR to As One (http://www.as1.info). Unbelievably great party- good music and people, I got horribly fucked up, I danced my ass off, I had tons of crazy bunny sex, and I got to go cliff jumping and slide down rock water slides. But not all was good...
The Flowers of Life, our shade structure for Burning Man was a dismall failure and the fibreglass hubs couldn't take the pressure, and the PVC pipe was too flexible. Basically the entire project is going to be scrapped. But the big Karmic sore in the eye of the Universe was that some yahoo! stole the festival safe out of the organizers car. I think they lost something like $7k. It truly sucks for someone to create such a beautiful space full of such amazing music, people, and art and then to have to suffer such thanks.
So life is chaos- full of beauty and destruction. Lots of love to Jared and Erika for throwing the party- they can't take all the good times had away from you.
Back to the drawing board for the camp shade structure. We might just be able to borrow a couple of domes from Pacific Domes and use those. It's not as cool as our structure but at the same time, domes are a medium we have used before and know well.
