Take this painting from the Prado in Spain. I'm constantly amazed that St. Bernard wasn't burnt at the stake for claiming the Virgin Mary shot a stream of breast milk into his mouth. Nope- instead he was sainted. What will those wacky monks think of next... (Wonder what really shot into his mouth...)
