Well, it has been quite an eventful few weeks. Particularly this past weekend. My birthday was on the 11th and my lady did her damnedest to spoil me despite my numerous protestations. I feel like I haven't had a weekend to do nothing since sometime last year, and these past few weekends were jam-packed more than usual. This past weekend was Beyond Wonderland, one of the many gifts from my lady celebrating my birthday, so it was extra super jam-packed. Mornings were relegated to getting everything done that needed to get done before we disappeared down the rabbit hole for two nights of dubstep, drum n bass, house, and a whole lot of dancing.
We even broke out the beads and made kandi. Damn it's been a while since I've done that.
My lady and I also started playing in a new Dungeons and Dragons campaign with some friends. Nerd alert: I'm fucking STOKED about our characters. We went with twin sister rogue vibes, but wholly opposites--my lady's character is all light, chaotic good, with alabaster skin and dark hair and bright white clothing while my character is all dark, chaotic evil, with deep gray skin and white hair and black and purple clothing. It's been a lot of fun playing these characters, despite us only being two sessions into the game.
And upon returning here to write, I learned that I have been bestowed the moderator role for the Design Group! That's so fucking cool. Well, I think it's pretty fucking cool. I spent some time reviewing the rules and guidelines of other groups to craft a set that I hope will help guide group content creation and make it a fun place to share resources and work. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this opportunity.
