nonsense

it's been a busy weekend. on friday, pixie, our roommate (tracy), and i all went to see the movie "chicago". it was awesome. i thought they shot the dancing very well. and the way how the blended the musical theater portion of it with the "regular" footage was great. i had my doubts before seeing it, but catherine z-j, renee z, and richard g. did decent jobs. saturday we looked at one of my friend's wedding pictures to see if we liked the photographer's style. pixie loved them, which is perfect because i liked them too. all the pics were journalistic in nature, so everything looked like photos from time magazine. some of the pics were in color, some in b&w, and others in infrared, so it was good mix. after drinking a lot of wine, and looking at those pics, we went home, got changed, and went to off to the rocky horror picture show at the nuart. we go pretty often. pixie used to help out with security there; and tracy plays magenta. we had a great time. the cast did a great pre-show based on the idea "what if andrew l. webber had writen rhps?", which was hilarious. but pixie and i left just before the floor show because we had to get up early to clean the apartment. my mom and stepdad came by to have lunch with us today (sunday); and this was the first time they've seen our new 2 bedroom apartment. now, i've got to do the bills. yuck.
