What am I doing posting a journal entry here? I need to be applying to colleges. The most depressing thought in the world right now is that I will not apply anywhere in time to start the fall 2003 semester and will have to wander the "I'm taking another year off" purgatory. I'm also starting to wonder if engineer is really the right career choice for me, I just got my ACT scores back and math was my lowest one; I thought that grammar would have been the worst by far. How can you be an engineer without math?!?
In related news, my highschool transripts weren't as bad as I had thought. It looks like independent study motorcycle repair really paid off. Way to boost that GPA! woooooo. Conversley, a D+ in calculus doesn't make any sort of math related field look like a good idea.
I'm leaving the continent for 8 months in two weeks and girlblue and I are just starting to work out some problems that we have that I may have been a little too unwilling to face. I'm not saying that it's a waste of effort, it's anything but that, it's just a little sad that it had to be now and not a few months ago that the issues were confronted. I've learned a lot of things from her and I could have learned so much more if I had payed more attention... no, that's not right; I pay attention, I just sometimes refuse to see what she says. An amazing girl.
