I've just had a very relaxing Easter weekend so apologies for anyone whose had a shit time of it. I quit my telesales job last Thursday, after a week of horrific 'attempted' insurance sales, theres never a better way to start a holiday than to pack a job in before you have some time off.
As i've said, i saw Shaun of the Dead and drank mucho. On Sunday Pearlbass came to visit and I gave her the best of Bristol, best drinks, best bars, best sights, best films (Shaun of the Dead again!) etc. And as a result it was a great time.
Having to look for work again come Tuesday did temper things but i'm in such a good mood it doesn't matter. Did the usual trawl of the agencies and had to call in and explain why i quit on Friday, i basically said it was against my morals, which went down well.
Anyway, the sun has been shining, i've been beaming, AND I purchased a sleazy black silk dressing gown with an embroidered dragon on the back (very 1980's/Kill Bill) so I can answer the front door in the mornings and look like a womanising bastard.
And then i've got a gig with a cool person and possible London SG meets to look forward to!
