Back to work today after 2 weeks off. I sure wasn't ready for it. I need to find a new job and make some kind of change in my life. I moved out to the 'burbs 2 years ago to be closer to work and now I feel like I'm living in a haze. In bed by 11 up at 7, off to another day in customer service hell, back home to zone out in from of the idiot box. I live to far from downtown to ever go there any more. The only culture I see is growing on my dirty dishes.
What the hell happened? I used to be alive. My friends used to be alive. Now I am just existing. I used to have fun and enjoy myself and my friends. Now we have all sold out for more money and security. What good is security if you are not living your life to the fullest? I'd rather be poor again than to keep living as a zombie.
