Ugh, college has taken me five years. I've transferred between so many colleges, and so many units were lost. At first I didn't mind, but now I'm feeling so burned out.

I did feel that Silent Hill disclosed a lot of information, but I didn't mind that so much. My question is, what happened with Rose and her daughter that seemed to trap them in an alternate demension? I kept trying to figure out why her husband could sense her when they seemed to occupy a similar space, yet they were having completely different experiences (he's walking down an abandoned hallway, she running from some demon down a dark, decaying hallway). What are your thoughts on it?

I found the unspeakable horrors of H.P. Lovecraft at 19 and have been a willing fellow under the thrall of his prose. I have every piece of fiction he's ever written, but I have none of his collected books of letters. Ironically, by most accounts, his most famous work is his letters to his friends that have been collected into several volumes by the publishing house that Derleth and others founded after his death. It pays to be wary while reading books labeled with the Lovecraft name. Derleth put out a lot of garbage that he wrote with H.P.'s name on the cover.

Before we can have another Renaissance, there needs to be a twenty-first century version of the Black Plague. I'm all for thinning the herd and moving on. Nihilism is a monster? It's a matter of perspective. A little death, destruction and mayhem coupled with a loss of civilized "comforts" would do wonders for perspective...

I haven't been on this site for while, so I thought I'd drop by to say hi.

Speaking from personal experience, it's best to just say how you feel and get some sort of answer, than to keep it in and wonder what would have happened had you taken the chance. Yes, it sucks that graduation is coming up, but why not try to make the best of what little time you have?

Abyss is not empty, but are you sure it is not a faint echo?
