This weekend I'm going off to Universal studios to see Huey Lewis and the News play. It isn't often you get to see a band almost two decades old who played on the soundtrack of one of your all-time favorite childhood movies, in a theme park with a ride dedicated to the same movie. Thank God I have friends like MachinShin who are geeky enough to enjoy this sort of thing with me. We are going to eat breakfast with Spider-Man and punch our way towards getting Huey to sign copies of the Back to the Future soundtrack. Bitches.
How might you ask have I even managed to attain the love of a woman after this brief description of my weekend intentions? It boggles the mind to be sure, but I'm guessing there is something endearing in the midst of all my jackassery. I've managed to shake off the aforementioned uneasiness, but I'm ever vigilant in case it might return. Right now everything is going great. I had a lot of fun with her last night. We watched Batman Forever in all of its cheesy, badly written glory as I distracted her from finishing her Forensics homework.
