Do you ever wonder why there are some scenes or events that take place in your life that make you bristle with recognition. It's like everything halts and your entire body becomes a conduit for emotion. There is nothing questionable about it, and in fact, no questions arise during such a situation. Just intense feeling and emotion. I get like this when it comes to revenge stories. Aligning myself with a particularly Buddhist view of reality, it seems somewhat conflicting that I should be so enlivened by the idea of retribution and revenge. It similarly happens during other emotional instances, and I have always taken such a response from my body to mean that I have beheld something truly beautiful, as if I have glimpsed something transcendent. What is it that is so romantic about someone having everything important to them taken away, and then continuing to exist solely as a force of karmic enforcement?
