Just checking up to see how everybody is doing out there. This past week was Thanksgiving here in the States, and it was quite busy at the grocery store where I work. (Ok, it's a Whole Foods.) People were jackasses. It went all nutty for me, but I've had the past few days off, and that has chilled me out a little. I got to watch a livestream of a live performance from a band I love and wrote about (Soft Kill), so that was cool, though it reminded me how much I miss going to shows.
Oh yeah, Thanksgiving and being thankful. Well, I'm thankful for my family, good friends who understand me, as well as the friends I've made on here, our new puppy (he always perks up when he sees me), and the fact I have people who read and enjoy the writing that I do from around my country and the world. (That blows my mind.) I'm hoping next year I finally start writing the book I keep saying I'm going to write.
Anyway, here's hoping everybody is doing alright. Staying safe and healthy (and hopefully in good spirits...that part is hard for me.)
