1. Height:
6', I'm a bit on the tall side. And I have nice broad shoulders, too. Hubba, hubba.
2. Virgin?
No. But, it's been a while since I've had any type of "sexy fun" with anybody, except for myself. Was that TMI? I mean this is Suicide Girls, is there such a thing as that on this site? Asking for a friend.
3. Do You Smoke?
Not anymore. I used to have a major two pack a day cigarette habit for most of my adult life. I quit 10 years ago and never plan to start up again. I've never smoked weed or done any kind of drug. I do DDP Yoga and jog, now. Snooze!
4. Do You Drink?
Not anymore. I gave that up about three years ago after a slight health scare. I was never a big drinker, until I worked where I work now and dove head first into the higher potency craft beers. It started to get a little crazy. But, I stopped. I must sound like the most boring person here. A music writer who doesn't drink, smoke or toke. Who knew such a creature existed?
5. Age You Get Mistaken For:
I'm 48, I had a friend at work think I was only about 35. When I told somebody else my age, they couldn't believe it either, so I guess? I just think I look old. Though, I had a female co-worker tell me the streaks of grey in my facial hair make me look distinguished. So kind of her. I guess? I don't know.
6. Any Tattoos?
No. But I like them on other people. Well, I'm on here, that should say something. I have many tattooed friends. Though, tattooed people at metal shows who say I'm not metal enough because I don't have any, suck. I do get that a bit in my home state of Connecticut.
7. Any Piercings?
No. Same applies for tattoos.
8. Best Friend? Best friend on SG?
My good friend Evil Bill. I've known him for about 20 years now. It all started when we worked at a Borders and shared a love for bad movies. Plus, our twisted senses of humor mesh well together. We're great friends. I hang out with him all the time. Well, when our work schedules allow it. On SG? I would say @gumballhead and @littlemissbondage. The first one is like my doppelganger, though in the midwest, while the second one has grown into a pretty decent friend, too.
9. A Fact About Your Personality:
I can be a bit pessimistic at times.
10. What career did you choose when you were a child?
I remember wanting to do something creative. And I kind of do that right now. Been doing music journalism for about 20 years. My next goal is to write a book. I have to find time to get started on that.
11. Where would you like to be right now?
I'd like to go somewhere with big, diverse arts and music scenes. Connecticut's scenes are small and kind of narrow minded. I always get flak for liking the more out there metal and hardcore bands. The metal and hardcore scenes are very conservative here, because the state is very traditional thinking, for a blue state. Plus, I'd like to be somewhere with more writing opportunities.
