I just wanted to say my work has been leaving me feeling really sad these days. Trying to focus on the positives, but sometimes that is hard given the state of the world. No matter what kind of day I've had, I always leave sad. Plus, I've been feeling lonely. Hope you all aren't feeling like this.

Just want to let people know if they're...

If you’re a fan of podcasts you should give “our plague year” a listen

@brogan Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out.

How is everybody holding up in their parts of the world? Where I live, which is in the Northeastern United States, we're not doing too bad with the pandemic compared to other parts of the country. We still have to follow the protocols and a lot of things still aren't happening. Work has been brutal. I work in a Whole Foods, when I'm not doing...

It's difficult here in Missouri.  There's a TON of dumbasses here. Luckily I'm a big tall monster, so rednecks don't dare make fun of me for wearing a mask. I'm expecting a spike in covid cases at any time now, it so lax here. I'm doing good though. Staying away from bar has somehow given me more time to work!
noiserocker1:
@gumballhead Good to hear you're doing alright. I can't imagine why people would be so lax. Here it is very strict and we're not expecting a spike. Still, you're doing the right thing by wearing a mask. And it's good you have had more time to work.

gumballhead:
Gotta score that LP. Great review, by the way.
noiserocker1:
@gumballhead Yeah, it's really good. And thanks for the kind words on the review, too.

I've been busy with the writing. Here's a review of the new one from Exhalants, which are a killer noise rock band from Austin, TX. And on Monday, they'll run my review of the killer new Napalm Death platter. Enjoy this one and look out for the one coming on Monday.

Here is a review of a weird, one-man, industrial/noise rock band out of Oakland. Very strange, but very good. Enjoy.

I was able to get a ticket to see Tenet next weekend at a theater near where I live. In IMAX, no less. I live in Connecticut, which is in the Northeastern United States, so movie theaters have just started opening here with all kinds of safety protocols in place. That makes me extremely happy. Some states in my country haven't reached that point yet....

Nominated By My Brother From Another Mother: @gumballhead . Thanks.

1. Height:

6', I'm a bit on the tall side. And I have nice broad shoulders, too. Hubba, hubba.

2. Virgin?

No. But, it's been a while since I've had any type of "sexy fun" with anybody, except for myself. Was that TMI? I mean this is Suicide Girls, is there such a thing as...

@gumballhead Wow, you were able to get some of those early Sub Pop Singles Club singles. I can imagine some of them had pretty good resale value.
gumballhead:
Oh, yeah! It was a great time for some great music. But, ya know, it's ALWAYS a great time for great music, if you're looking hard enough.

I know it's been a while since my last post. I've just been busy with work, writing and life in general. I had a birthday in early-August. Work has been driving me insane and making me miserable. I work in a Whole Foods and it's been crazy. People not wanting to wear masks. Acting rude and impatient. Getting upset when we run out of small...

Here is an interview I wrote on a really cool, fast, sludgy hardcore band from L.A. called Entry, which features a member of Touche Amore. Check it out. Some killer tunes here.
