I don't see the need nor understand the significance of sociology as a requirement for college programs. Granted there may be some use for it but for those who are not interested or majoring in it I don't understand why colleges are forcing it down throats. I am not looking into programs remotely similar to that field of study and I find it funny it's a requirement for auto/machine programs; guess like the english department there are too many people who earned a masters and cant find real work. I personally find sociology to be not only rather dull and whiny but also contradictive onto its self. That being said I have a test in it today....Oh joy.
