so, the third season of Dexter ended this week. still the best show ever. although i have to say that the second to last episode felt more like a season finale.
i seriously try so hard not to get sucked in to new tv shows. i used to take pride in the fact that the only shows i HAD to watch were Lost and Jeopardy. my reasoning is-if i see a new show, i'm going to love it. so, if i don't even see it once, i'll never know what i am missing. it worked for a little while. that is, until i found Dexter. and damnit...i am now addicted to yet ANOTHER show that i never in a million years thought i would like. Weeds. i'm in the middle of season 3 and i love it. as much as i love Dexter, there are a couple of characters who aren't as well developed as they should be (LaGuerta, although she is becoming more human) and some characters have ridiculous dialogue (debra)...but Weeds has likable characters and i actually care about what happens to them. they've made bad decisions and there are consequences. but i want to see them make it through their problems. even the hatable characters are likable. i fucking love elizabeth perkins. i have loved her since Big and she's still hot.
okay, i have to watch another episode now.
