i started this thread yesterday in the name of scientific research. Mike Ness VS Bob Mould. i was kinda expecting to get alot of "i LOOOOOVE mike ness" and "WHO the hell is bob mould?" but once again the people of this web site astound me and prove to have excellent taste.
now don't get me wrong...i love social distortion. well, everything up to "somewhere between heaven and hell" that had a few good songs. but i think mike ness has become kind of a cartoon.
Husker Du on the other hand, sound just as good now as they did years ago. and bob mould has proven that he can evolve and mature. his music today sounds like it comes from a completely different person compared to the Husker Du days.
if none of this matters to you...i understand. i'm just passionate about music and i would rather express my opinions here instead of on the boards.
now check out Husker Du on the Joan Rivers Show.
