yeah, i did write that... but it alludes to Anne Carson's novel
Autobiography of Red... she's a brilliant shattering writer.
She takes that myth and turns it into a coming of age novel... from the perspective of the monster as the tortured youth... it's also a queer coming out story. truly a beautiful piece of writing. If you liked those lines ... the analogy begins in her book.

i listened to that yesterday at work!! everyone always gives me crap when i listen to the beach boys but i looove them.. i think my favorite song by them is that one.. and/or arent you glad.. yesterday was alright... today i hope is better.. its really sunny and breezy outside..

yeah i had a hangover for 6 months when i lived in California. here, hard liquor isnt available 24/7 or even in grocery stores. but i just drink more beer because of it.
