yesterday went unbelievably well. the chemestry was great, and there were no gaps in the conversation or dead air. the whole thing felt like we've been doing this for years.
so, we're definitely a team, and it turns out we have an infinite amount of chances to wow management with the perfect show. if we turn this one in and they don't like it,...

Alrighty, you've responded in Round Two, albeit a bit late.
I shall have to start Round 3!

i had a meeting yesterday with a good friend who works for a major los angeles radio station and a woman he works with. the woman produces one of the evening shows on the station. the meeting went well and was incredibly productive...and next week we will be recording a pilot episode for a talk show on HD Radio. if this all pans out and...

great scene! You're right though, it's much more terrifying in the book. His books have never translated to film very well, I always think it's because most of the horror in his books takes place inside the protagonist's head. I read once that Pet Semetary was the only book that actually scared him while he was writing it. Enjoy your halloween whatever you do!!

I would LOVE to see a remake with George Clooney! And maybe this time they won't ruin the ending of the book! I remember being pissed because at the end of the book it was so ambiguous as to how Rachel came back, but I guess that ending would just be too subtle for American audiences!
Am I remembering that correctly? At the end of the book, isn't he sitting at a table and she walks in and puts her hand on his shoulder and says "darling..." and that's the ending?
My favorite King book is "The Shining", I've read it a few times over the years. Imagine my disappointment when the movie came out and only covered about a 10th of the book.
I think it's a really well made film, but I was still disappointed. And don't even get my started on the mediocrity of the miniseries!!

when i was little, i used to love this show called The Electric Company. most of you are probably too young to remember it, but it was great. my parents even got me a subscription to the Electric Company Magazine when i was a kid. but if you look it up on youtube, there are a ton of clips from the show, including stuff...

Before my time a little, but maybe I just forgot due to the concussion I received. Unfortunately I do remember the Dodger game from yesterday. That is something I wish I could forget.
so, tonight was the first date with the girl from work. yeah sorry, chuck, but i don't think i'll be going on a second date with her. when i got there, she was with a group of her friends. she pulled me aside and said she hoped it was alright, they just showed up and she had no idea they were going to be there....

Okay, we can give her tons of shit about Showgirls because it's a shitty movie, but she's definitely no longer the sluttiest ex-Saved By the Bell-er. Not by a longshot. I can just see Dennis Haskins in a dark corner of Dimples at 2AM a Thursday, slinging back bourbon and mouth-breathing "MRS. B'S NOT HOME TONIGHT, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN" to the nearest slackjawed barfly.
And that's Dustin Neil Diamond, even! It's true, it was only a matter of time.

i am replying to your myspace video of the day here, cause myspace is being wonky, surprise, surprise.
true story, i had a ginormous crush on vincent price as a child, i adore his voice.
see, i wasn't supposed to watch scary stuff but my mom and my grandmother tended to go shopping after the soaps most days and my pop-pop used to let me watch the 4:30 movie. i have been a horror and monster movie fan with a love of mr price ever since.
at about the age of 7 my favorite movie was 'the birds' and my mother wouldn't even sit through the whole thing because it creeped her out. as i got older, i messed with her by randomly pointing out birds when we were outside and saying "oh look, lovebirds"

I once wrote a song about pirates. It's called "I want to be your butt pirate, baby." I play it at parties still, if I'm drunk enough. It's a crowd pleaser.

i couldn't find Leon Redbone's ALL commercial...so instead here's tom Waits singing Cole Porter's It's All Right With Me.
