There are times when I wish I believed in a god, higher power, or what have you. So I can just give up and put it all in someone else's lap. So that giving up didn't feel like I'm giving up on myself and the things that I so intensely believed in. So that I didn't harbor self hate because I feel like I'm not strong enough. To be sweet enough to believe that it's not within my control.
To not think about everything, and to not feel everything must be so freeing.
Does someone out there want to be my god? I'll supply you with offers of cookies and pies.
