Photo Journal!!
I needed some cheering up so I bought a bunch of flowers. They're all over the house now, all bright and pretty. I was also given some flowers to help cheer me up. They are also very pretty. I was inspired by the bright pink that I painted my toes and nails the same color.

I baked. Go figure. This was last week though. It's a wheat free, almond and peach cake, filled with lemon cream and a coconut buttercream. The whole thing was dairy free. It turned out just ok. I preferred the cake with none of the stuff on it. For those who wanted the recipe for the cupcakes, I'll send it to you. It's a good one.
My latest arrival from ebay: A bunch of vintage hypodermic syringes, with needles! They came from bulgaria or something crazy. I'm going to frame them, along with some other vintage medical stuff. Mmm...medical...
Other than that, I've been sewing and drinking a lot of coffee. Weird. I normally don't drink coffee. I lost out on getting one of the best dogs I've ever met, but life goes on. I'm still kind of bummed about it, but it'll pass.

Cool syringes... Gotta love Ebay! Sorry you missed out a on groovy dog, there will be another one someday. I have cute new pup. I'll post a photo soon. You're baked goods look delicious!
