Yay! My mom's stuff came. Christmas is finally over. I can now take down the tree. Not looking foward to it, but it has to be done. I hate chores. I wish I could just toss the whole thing in the fire, decorations and all.
Now to think about what to do for NYE. I think it might be spent on the couch drinking very fine champagne with the boy. Not a bad way to start the new year. Or, we may go out. One of the parties we wanted to go to has been cancelled. The other, well, I'm not sure I want to go. Should be fun, but I'm not sure I want to invest the money on odds that aren't exceptionally good.
I went to two asian food markets. I'm officially stocked for the new years day feast. At this point though it looks like it will just be me and Ghostcowboy. But that's ok, more sushi for me!
I bought special fancy pastries, noodles for soup, lots of sake, eel, tuna and salmon sashimi, stuff to make inari and veggie rolls, rice crackers, mochi, dumplings, edamame, and candy with little toys in them. I bought a gundum toy for the boy and a mini dish set for me. Like I said, anyone that is near my place on NY's stop by and have a bite. Anytime. Although, I'm not sure if we're going to stompy or not. Probably not.
Thanks to everyone who came to the tea and dessert party on Thursday. It really helped us clear some room. Only to fill it with NY's food, but oh well. You can come over and help eat that too.
So what did I make out with on X-mess (besides the boy ):

a pair of puma sneaks
a pedicure kit
a much needed flask
a ton of really great books, mostly on fashion, corsets and fetish stuff. Thanks mom!
a cute pair of strip flops
make up bag assortment

A trip to Tahoe
A subscription to vegetarian times
A t-shirt that I've pretty much lived in since I got it.
a pretty pair of jade earrings
some cash
and last but not least a check totaling the price of one of the classes I'm going to take. Yes mom, I promise not to run away with the circus.
My mom also got the boy a book, and a really cool journal with skulls on it. And a pen set. I bought him a vintage subaru cop car, two video games, a flask, an umbrella with skulls all over it, a computer case, wireless headphones for his ipod, a subscription to penthouse, some jammies, and a bunch of stocking stuff.
*whew. How's that for an update?
