Alright I'm in far too pissy a mood to write about how my weekend has gone, because, well, it's been pretty shitty. SO, here's a story for you.
True story, btw.
You know those moments when you say something and everything around you seems to go silent for that one statement?
I had about 8 friends over one night, playing a great big marathon game of Magic: The Gathering at the dining room table. My then-fiance was preparing to go out and get snacks, and was trying to figure out what everyone wanted. She was trying to shout over everyone carrying on about 6 different conversations, and asked, "What kind of chips should I get?"
It was then, at one of those moments where the room goes silent, yet no one realizes what she's just asked, that I announce, "I like Guy's!"
